Froot is the third studio album by Welsh singer Marina Diamandis, released under the stage name Marina and the Diamonds. It was originally scheduled to be released on 3 April 2015 by Neon Gold Records and Atlantic Records, although it was ultimately released on 13 March 2015 due to unauthorised Internet leaks. Written entirely by Diamandis, she collaborated with David Kosten for production.

Froot" is a song by Welsh singer Marina Diamandis, at the time known professionally as Marina and the Diamonds. It was released for streaming on 10 October 2014, to coincide with the singer's birthday, and later received a full digital release as the lead single from her third studio album, Froot. Diamandis premiered the single on YouTube.

Froot (stylized as FROOT) is the third studio LP by MARINA, released on March 16, 2015. The album was originally to be released on April 3, 2015; however, the date was pushed forward following the entire album leaking online in February 2015. Marina released songs off the album leading up to the release date, starting with the title track, "Froot" in October 2014.

The visual element of Marina and The Diamonds has never necessarily been crucial and the striking imagery that accompanied both The Family Jewels and Electra Heart cemented itself as a part of Diamandis' persona. FROOT does little to derail that trait: "In the beginning, when I did my first photoshoot, I was trying to describe it as like blending neon with nature. It's like a cyber La Dolce Vita, or a sci-fi Sophia Loren, or a futuristic Liz Taylor. It's about taking these iconic figures, these feminine icons, and interpreting them an a modern way.

With FROOT, Marina and the Diamonds' first new noise since the death of alter-ego Electra Heart in 2013, Marina Diamandis has made a grand statement of intent. It's a cathartic rebirth in nearly every way, and sees her veer away from the last LP's stylistic and thematic intentions, instead returning to basics for a new chapter in her career and life. The whole album is exceptional but if you want to get hooked, listen to "Forget" only once and you'll be a Diamond for life.
